2nd Idea of a Film Opening

The opening starts with a mid-long-shot of a street at night revealing the location the opening sequence is being filmed.

We see a character named Rick walking down the street in rich clothing and is placed in the middle of the frame meaning he might be important for the plot of the rest of the movie. We hear crickets making noise in the background to add a sense of danger, uncertainty of what is going to happen. A car about 20 meters away from Rick starts to follow him at a distance, the driver thinks that the person walking won’t notice but Rick immediately notices the car without even turning around and we could see by his facial expression that he is terrified, scared, frightened a bit. The car drives at a very slow speed trying to examine the person walking and try to be unnoticed but since the street was too quite the engine sound was giving away his position. Rick walks as if the car isn’t there and then the car gets even closer to him, at this point the car tries to ram into Rick at a high speed but Rick dodges the car by a meter or two, Rick frustrated from the dodge of the car lies on the floor, breathes heavily and the scene goes into a slow motion montage for a couple of seconds to reveal the intense feeling Rick is experiencing from the fall, we could see the car drifting its way at making a 180* turn to try and hit Rick again, Rick gets up and runs, runs as fast as he can to get away from the person who almost killed him in the car. The car was catching up to Rick but Rick luckily ran into an alley and continued to run where the car had no access too. We could see the surrounding area of Rick and as if we were Rick because of the Point of View from Rick perspective, we see birds flying away from something, dogs barking in the background and the wind blowing very loudly, Rick continued to run through the alleys and runs through 4 blocks and then runs out of breath and is seen there gasping for air, we hear no music in the background only him gasping for the air and the wind itself. Rick bends over to breathe more freely and we could see him gasping for air in slow inhales and fast exhales for about 10-15 seconds, Rick looks around to check his surrounding area and sees nothing then out of nowhere the car chasing Rick rams into him at 50 mph sending Rick flying 5 meters in front of the car, after the crash we see Rick lying on the floor in a pool of his own blood and the camera films this part from over the shoulder of the driver, not revealing the drivers face but showing us Rick struggling to breath and barely moves on the floor, the driver comes up to Rick and as Rick was about to say ‘F you’ he gets shoot in the head once. The camera reveals the smoke from the barrel and then we see a time-jump into the film…. This opening sets the tone of uncertainty about the film and questions who the killer is.
